Suzanne Stluka is the Food & Families Program Director for SDSU Extension. She provides leadership to the Food & Families Capstone Field Specialists in the areas of Aging, Family Resource Management, Food Safety, Physical Activity, and Nutrition. Suzanne also provides leadership to the Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education (SNAP-Ed); these programs provide health and wellness education to limited resource audiences across SD. Her research interests are in the area of food security, food access, and nutrition education, primarily focusing on for Native American audiences.
