Have you thought about pricing 2013 (yes 2013) corn? Have you wondered if you should with unknown input costs? We have a program to help crop and livestock producers weighing these choices. SDSU Extension will host a two day Far Ahead Commodity Workshop on February 17 & 24, 2012 at the Mitchell Regional Center.

Because there are so many aspects landowners need to consider before tiling, SDSU Extension is collaborating to host five drainage design workshops throughout the region. Workshop 4 will begin on February 23, 2012 in Wahpeton, North Dakota.

The increasing market value of rural land, especially that with tree cover, provides opportunities for owners to improve their financial position through land sales. If however, the goal is to keep the land in the family or otherwise prevent its development, detailed planning is a must.
