SDSU Extension and SD 4-H invite SD communities to participate in the 4-H National youth Science Day on October 4, 2017 across the nation.
This year’s experiment – Incredible Wearables – provides youth with an opportunity to learn about e-textiles as they design a prototype wearable technology capable of gathering data. The project was designed by University of Nebraska Lincoln and is designed to teach youth about wearable technologies and healthy life choices.
How you can participate:
During the week of October 4-8, 2017, South Dakota 4-H will be joining youth across the nation as we participate in the 4-H National Science Experiment. We invite you to join a 4-H group in your community or plan your own event. For information about events in your community contact your local 4-H advisor or Christine Wood by email.
