The South Dakota State Fair is right around the corner (August 30 – September 3, 2018 Huron, SD) and a team of SDSU Extension specialists will be there to answer your questions.
Stop by the Horticulture Building to ask questions about cover crops, soil health, plant diseases, weather and climate, insects, and more. Field Specialists will be on hand from 9 am – 6 pm each day to provide answers and resources alongside the Master Gardeners. There will be a display of cover crops that can be used in an agronomic rotation or a home garden. Making its State Fair debut, will be the extreme weather map for South Dakota where you can share your extreme weather stories. Information about common South Dakota insects will be available, along with a collection of pinned insects.
The Horticulture Building is also the site for presentations every day. View the full schedule to learn more.
The SDSU Extension WEED Project will be available again in the Expo Building.
See you at the State Fair!
