Native people have a rich culture that is important when addressing aging and caregiving. For this reason, SDSU Extension has compiled some resources developed by Native People for Native people.
National Resource Center on Native American Aging works to identify Native elder health and social issues, working to support community-based solutions. The Resource Center provides education, training, and technical assistance. This website provides a variety of resources, including a needs assessment tool, newsletters, exercise curriculum, and caregiver curriculum.
